Terms of Service

Last updated October 18, 2026.

These terms are an agreement between you and Finch for your use of the Finch website, app and services. By creating an account you agree to them. If you use Finch for a business, you confirm you can accept these terms for it.

1. Your account

Keep your sign-in details private and tell us at support@finchbooks.ai if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under it, including actions by people you invite. Owners and admins decide who can see and change each business's books.

2. Plans and prices

  • The Free plan costs $0 a month for any number of businesses.
  • Every account includes 100 Finch AI actions. Superpower AI costs $49 a month for the first business and $29 a month for each additional business, billed monthly until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next charge; you keep Superpower AI until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Payment fees: cards 2.9% + 30¢ on Free and 2.7% + 30¢ on Superpower AI; bank transfers 0.8%, never more than $5. Disputes, returned bank payments and fraud warnings carry the fees shown in your payments settings.
  • We give at least 30 days' notice before raising a price that applies to you. Price decreases apply right away.

3. Getting paid through Finch

Accepting card and bank payments requires a separate payments account with our payments partner and a review of your business before you can take payments. We may ask for documents, hold or delay payouts, keep a reserve, or close payment acceptance when we see risk, fraud or a breach of the payment rules, and we will tell you why when we can. You are responsible for refunds, disputes and chargebacks on payments you accept.

4. Bank connections

Bank sync runs through SimpleFIN Bridge, a separate service you sign up for and pay directly. Its terms and pricing apply to that connection. You can disconnect at any time.

5. Finch AI

Finch AI prepares changes to your books as proposals. Nothing it prepares changes your books until a member with permission confirms it, unless an admin turns on automatic changes within a limit they set. You can undo applied changes while the affected rows are as the change left them. Finch AI can make mistakes: review its proposals, and treat its answers as help, not as tax, legal or financial advice.

6. Your data

Your books are yours. You can export them at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account. How we collect and use information is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use Finch to break the law, to process payments for prohibited goods or services, to send spam, or to interfere with the service or other people's data.

8. Not professional advice

Finch is software. It is not an accounting firm, a tax preparer or a bank, and it does not replace advice from a qualified professional.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Finch available and accurate but provide it as is, without warranties to the extent the law allows. We may change features over time; we will give notice of changes that materially reduce what you pay for.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Finch is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it.

11. Ending

You can stop using Finch at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as payment obligations and liability limits, survive.
